“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in
you, whom you have received from God?” — 1 Corinthians 6:19
Long before “detox” became a wellness buzzword, God had already given His
people a blueprint for physical cleansing, fasting, and nourishment. Scripture
doesn’t separate the spiritual from the physical — it treats the body as
sacred ground, worthy of the same intentionality we bring to our prayer life.
That’s the heart behind what we call the Biblical Detox: a daily cleansing
practice built on simple, God-given ingredients, paired with biblical fasting
rhythms and nutrient-dense foods our ancestors thrived on for generations.
This isn’t a trend. It’s a return to something older and more trustworthy —
tested first in Scripture, then tested again, personally, over many hours of
research and real-world use with encouraging results.
THE MASTER’S CLEANSE RECIPE
Each “shot” of the Master’s Cleanse is simple, portable, and easy to prepare
in batches for the week. Here is the exact recipe:
- 1 oz purified, distilled, or spring water
- 1 tbsp olive oil and/or coconut oil
- Juice of 1 key lime
- 1/16 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1–3 pinches of sea salt
Take this mixture 3–10 times per day, first thing in the morning and
throughout the day, always at least 30 minutes before eating.
A practical tip: prepare a week’s worth at once using small 2 oz bottles.
Refrigerate them, then pull tomorrow’s bottle out the night before so it has
time to liquify again (coconut oil solidifies at room/fridge temperature).
If you’re using coconut oil, you can take a small spoonful separately right
after your shot when you’re able — the olive oil is the more essential of the
two. I personally like using volcanic spring water for these shots, though
it isn’t required — any clean, purified water will do.
A note on the cayenne: if you struggle with heartburn or acid reflux, start
with a lower dose for the first week or two and build up gradually as your
body adjusts.
DON’T FORGET YOUR BINDER
Whenever you’re detoxing, it’s essential to take a binder before bed alongside your
cleanse — something that will absorb the heavy metals and toxins your body is
actively flushing out, rather than letting them simply recirculate and get
reabsorbed. I recommend spirulina for this purpose:
Cleansing without a binder is like opening a window to let smoke out of a
room but never letting it actually leave the house — a binder helps carry
what’s released the rest of the way out.
GOAT’S MILK — MORNING AND NIGHT
Thirty minutes after your Master’s Cleanse shot in the morning, and again 30
minutes after your evening shot before bed, take a serving of goat’s milk.
This isn’t a modern addition — it’s ancient wisdom. Proverbs speaks directly
to this provision:
“You will have plenty of goats’ milk to feed your family and to nourish your
female servants.” — Proverbs 27:27
Goat’s milk has nourished households for thousands of years, and its
inclusion here bookends your day — supporting your body’s cleansing rhythm
both as you begin your morning and as you rest at night.
SALT — SEASONING WITH PURPOSE
Salt every offering. In practice, this means aiming for roughly 5–10 grams of
quality sea salt daily — counting everything you eat or drink, not just what
you add at the table. This mirrors a principle woven throughout the Old
Testament sacrificial system:
“Season all your grain offerings with salt. Do not leave the salt of the
covenant of your God out of your grain offerings.” — Leviticus 2:13
Salt wasn’t an afterthought in Scripture — it was covenantal, a mark of
preservation and purification. Choosing an unrefined, mineral-rich sea salt
(rather than heavily processed table salt) keeps you close to that original
design.
BEEF ORGAN SUPPLEMENTS — AFTER EVERY MEAL
Take a beef organ supplement after every meal. Organ meats were prized in
nearly every traditional culture, including biblical households, as some of
the most nutrient-dense parts of the animal — rich in vitamins, minerals, and
compounds that muscle meat alone doesn’t provide.
Here’s the caution: most supplements on the market today are not regulated
the way people assume. A product can carry a clean label and still contain
heavy metals, contaminants, or simply not contain what the label claims. Before
you put anything into your body — organ supplements especially — make sure
it has been third-party tested for heavy metals, toxins, and label accuracy.
This isn’t optional due diligence; it’s the difference between nourishing
your temple and quietly poisoning it. The product links below have already
been vetted with this standard in mind, including dedicated formulations for
men, women, and those 50 and older whose nutritional needs shift with age.
FASTING WHILE ON THE CLEANSE
Fasting has always been part of God’s design for the body and spirit
together — a way of drawing near to Him while your body rests from constant
digestion:
“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bonds of wickedness…
Is it not to share your bread with the hungry?” — Isaiah 58:6–7
While taking the Master’s Cleanse, a daily fasting window supports the
cleansing process:
- Men: fast 16–20 hours per day
- Women: fast 12–14 hours per day
This difference isn’t arbitrary — men and women process fasting stress
differently due to hormonal differences, so the window is adjusted
accordingly. Break your fast gently, and continue taking your cleanse shots
throughout the fasting window as outlined above.
EATING BIBLICALLY
Beyond the cleanse itself, this protocol is most effective inside a broader
pattern of biblical eating. Scripture repeatedly points to specific animals as
clean, provision-rich sources of nourishment — the cow, the deer, the lamb,
and the goat among them:
“These are the animals you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat, the deer…”
— Deuteronomy 14:4–5
And regarding milk specifically for the household:
“You will have plenty of goats’ milk to feed your family.” — Proverbs 27:27
Building your diet around these biblically-clean animals — grass-fed beef,
lamb, goat, venison, and goat’s milk — gives your body the raw materials it
needs to actually use the cleansing you’re doing. A cleanse without proper
nourishment is incomplete; the two were always meant to work together.
A WORD OF EXPERIENCE
I’ve spent many hours researching this protocol and testing it personally,
as well as walking others through it, with encouraging results across the
board. This isn’t theory — it’s a lived practice, refined through real use.
As with anything involving fasting or dietary change, listen to your body,
adjust as needed, and consult a qualified healthcare provider before
beginning, especially if you have an existing health condition.

FINAL THOUGHT
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as
your soul prospers.” — 3 John 1:2
The Biblical Detox isn’t about chasing a trend — it’s about returning to a
rhythm of cleansing, fasting, and nourishment that Scripture modeled long
before modern wellness culture discovered it. Start where you are, go slowly
if you need to, and let your body — this temple you’ve been given — be
stewarded well.
